I-84 Rollover Shut Highway Tuesday Night
A tractor-trailer lost control and a passenger vehicle behind it was unable to avoid it.
SOUTHEAST, NY — Eastbound Interstate 84 was a mess Tuesday night after a tractor-trailer lost control and overturned, blocking the left lane at 10:25 p.m. It was hit by an eastbound passenger vehicle unable to avoid the wreckage.
The Brewster Fire Department responded with other emergency crews. New York state police said injuries sustained by both drivers appear to be minor.
During cleanup, the left lane of traffic was closed and traffic was diverted to the right and entrance ramp lanes.
