Judge Denies Motion for New Trial in Murder of 12-year-old Putnam Girl
Andrew Krivac won't get a new trial. His alleged companion in the horrific assault and murder was found not guilty in a third trial.

Andrew Krivac, the second man convicted for the rape and murder of 12-year-old Josette Wright, has been denied a motion for a new trial, the Putnam County Courier reported.
Krivac and Anthony DiPippo both had filed motions. DiPippo was granted a new trial and was found not guilty by a jury in October. DiPippo had been found guilty twice; both times the conviction was overturned on appeal.
Krivac had confessed to the assault. He was found guilty in 1997. State Supreme Court Justice Victor Alfieri ruled that the evidence presented at that trial was overwhelming and the purported new evidence was not likely to result in a change, according to the Putnam County Courier.
