Mahopac Man Accused of Assault in Putnam Valley

New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Robert L. Davis III, 40, of Mahopac on April 13 for Assault 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to an assault on Peekskill Hollow Road in Putnam Valley. The victim alleges that Davis arrived at his home and punched him in the face following a verbal altercation. The victim contacted 911 for assistance and the Davis fled before police arrived.

The victim was transported to Hudson Valley Hospital with a facial injury.

Davis was located a short time later, charged with assault and scheduled to appear in the Town of Putnam Valley Court on April 14.
