Mahopac Man To Manage Real Estate Firm's Brewster Branch

SOUTHEAST-BREWSTER, NY - From Houlihan Lawrence: Houlihan Lawrence has announced the appointment of Aaron C. Velez as manager of the company’s Somers/Brewster branch offices. Velez was most recently manager of the company’s Yonkers office.

A life-long resident of Westchester County, Velez joined Houlihan Lawrence in 2008. He has earned numerous sales awards, is a member of the National Association of Realtors, New York State Association of Realtors and Westchester County Board of Realtors. He has received certifications as Project Management Professional (PMP), Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Relocation Certified, and a member of the National Historic Preservation Society and Westchester County Historical Society.

Velez holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Lehman College and Master’s Degree from Columbia University and is actively involved in his community. He initiated the Giving Back Program to support the ongoing efforts of the Westchester Institute for Human Development in Valhalla. To date, he has raised/donated over $40,000 to support WIHD’s Child Welfare Services programs.

Velez resides in Mahopac with his wife and twin 2-year-old children. “I am excited to be working in a market where my children go to school and my family socializes,” he said.
