My dad is awesome because: He provides for my family.

My favorite memory with my dad is: I’ve got so many of them! Let’s see. My favorite memory is when he used to come home late from work after a 12 to 14-hour shift — those are my favorite because he would take us out and go to the convenience store and get something.

Name: Evan Callahan

Age, town: 20, Brewster

My dad is awesome because: He gives me money, bought me a car. When I was younger he used to take me to all my soccer games and stuff.

My favorite memory with my dad is: The first time he let me drive, and it was hilarious because you could tell he was a nervous wreck – you could see him stomping on the break on the passenger side.

My dad is awesome because: Cause he’s my dad, man! (At this point, her father jumped in and asked, "Who else is gonna put up with her?”)

My favorite memory with my dad is: The time I was 6 years old and my dad came off the road and he gave me a necklace. It said “The Sweetest Girl.”
