NYSP Car Rear-Ended, Troopers Injured On I-84
The crash closed eastbound I-84 for nearly four hours during the evening rush hour Tuesday.

KENT, NY — Two New York state troopers and a driver they were interviewing were injured Tuesday evening when their police car was struck from behind on I-84. All their emergency lights were activated at the time as they were conducting a vehicle-and-traffic stop.
The crash took place just east of Exit 17 onto Ludingtonville Road.
The occupants of the stopped car were hurt, one severely. Police said they did not believe it was a life-threatening injury. The two troopers sustained minor injuries.

The driver who hit them was not injured.
