Obituary: Albert E. Rossi Of Brewster

Albert E. Rossi, of Brewster, NY, died peacefully on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 72 years old.

Born on January 27, 1947 in Hackensack, NJ, son of Armando and Helen (Sokolowski) Rossi, Albert attended school in Woodridge, NJ.

On January 23, 1971 he married the love of his life, Deborah Brethauer in Upper Mountain, NJ.
In 1984, the Rossis moved to Brewster where Mr. Rossi served as an Auto Mechanic at Brewster Tire until his retirement in 2009. He was a passionate Yankees fan.

Albert will not only be missed by his loving wife, but also his children; Nicole Galayda (Chris) and Brian Rossi (Laura) both of Wingdale, NY; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Abigail, and Lily Galayda and David Clavie-Ramos; and his siblings and in-laws, Sharon Rossi, Joseph Rossi, Lorraine Rodriguez, Susan Komeshok (Greg), Eileen Spirito (Dennis), And Dean Rossi (Colleen).

He was predeceased by his Brother, Armando, his sister, Patricia, his sister-in-law Gayle, and his Brother-in-law, Robert Rodriguez.

Visitation and service were held Oct. 20 at Beecher Funeral home. Interment will be private.

Donations may be made in Albert’s name to the American Heart Association.
