Obituary: Edward William Babon, 80

Edward William Babon, 80, of Brewster, NY, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023 in Somers, NY.

He was born April 23, 1943, to the late William and Antoinette (Piazza) Babon, and he was a life-long resident of Brewster. Edward attended Brewster High School, and after graduating, he went on to pursue higher education at Hunter College in New York City, where he earned his teaching degree.

Outside the classroom he loved to read, draw, write poetry, and was an avid gardener.

Edward is survived by his niece, Melissa Roberts of Leesburg, VA, and his nephew, Mark Brewer of Taos, NM. He was predeceased by his sister Christine DiSisto who passed November 18, 2022.
