Obituary: Giovanni Malandruccolo, of Brewster

Giovanni Malandruccolo, of Brewster, NY, died peacefully at home on Saturday June 27, 2020. He was 85 years old.

Born on March 30, 1935 in Ripi, Italy son of the late Enrico and Evangelista Malandruccolo. Before moving to Brewster 21 years ago he lived in Bronx, NY.

On March 3, 1962 he married the love of his life Angela Razzino in Bridgeport, CT.

Giovanni was a carpenter. He was an active parishioner of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY and a member of the Knights of Columbus council #1495.

Mr. Malandruccolo is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Angela; his daughters Mary Hausler and her husband Michael, Denise Cerrone and her husband Robert and Giuliana Nessel, his 6 grandchildren John (Samantha), Jacqueline (Richard), Nicholas, Isabella, Angela, Michael; and 1 great grandson Hudson. He was predeceased by his siblings; Angelo, Costantino, Lina, Pasqualina.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 1, 2020 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY from 4-8pm.In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in memory of Giovanni to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
