Obituary: Jacqueline Beardsley, Former Brewster Resident

Jacqueline Beardsley of Seymour, CT, passed away Thursday April 20, 2023, in Huntersville, NC at the age of 85.

Jacqueline was born February 7, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Duffy) Haggerty. She graduated from St. Simon Stock High School. She lived in Brewster, NY for 19 years followed by time living in Florida, Cape Cod and Seymour. In 1986 she married James Beardsley in Brewster, NY. Jacqueline worked as an administrative assistant for Perkin Elmer in Danbury, CT.

Jacqueline is survived by her son Robert Williams of Charlotte, NC, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her first husband William F. Williams, her husband James Beardsley and her oldest son Richard Williams.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday May 2, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery in Brewster. Calling hours will take place on Monday May 1, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY.
