Obituary: John Piazza of Brewster

John Piazza of Brewster, NY, passed away at home Thursday December 22, 2022, at the age of 92.

John was born August 12, 1930, in Brewster, NY, son of the late Tom and Jennie (Latino) Piazza. John lived in Brewster most all his life.

On January 27, 1962, he married Dolores Iacono in Holy Family Church in Bronx, NY. He was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster and worked as a mechanic at Brewster Ford for almost forty years before retiring in 1992.

John is survived by his wife Dolores; sons John Piazza and his wife Victoria of Brewster, NY, Thomas Piazza of Lancaster, CA; sister Bernice Hutchings of Brewster, NY and grandchildren John, Elizabeth, and Caroline.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday December 27, 2022, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at a later date.
