Obituary: Joseph W. Braun Of Patterson

Joseph W. Braun, of Patterson, NY, died peacefully with his family by his side on October 26, 2021. He was 93 years old.

Mr. Braun was born on August 19, 1928, in Queens, NY, his father’s namesake. His mother died when he was 16 years old.

Joseph graduated from Bayshore High School in Queens and served honorably in the Army during the Korean War. He married Lorraine M. Braun on June 21, 1953, in Brooklyn, NY. Together they moved to Brewster and raised their two children.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Braun of Danbury, CT; his Grandchildren, Christopher J. Braun, Eric A. Braun and Justin E. Braun and his sister, Katherine Sinello. Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife, his daughter, Patricia Stipak and his sister, Esther.
