Josephine F. Lubrano of Brewster, NY, passed away in Somers, NY Wednesday January 18, 2023, at the age of 92.

Josephine was born January 2, 1931, in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Scotto) Grande. On June 27, 1948, she married Matthew J. Lubrano in Brooklyn. They lived in Brooklyn until 1986, moving to Easton, PA where they lived until Matthew passed away in 2014, Josephine then moved to Brewster, NY and became a member of the West English Danbury Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brewster. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1962 and has remained a faithful servant over 60 years.

Josephine is survived by her son Matthew Lubrano and his wife Mary of Brewster, NY; grandchildren Jason, Nina and MaryJo and great-grandchildren Chloe, Olive, Penelope, Layla, and Hugo. She was predeceased by her son Vincent.

Calling hours will take place Thursday January 19, 2023, at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery in Easton, PA, Friday January 20, 2023 at 12:00 pm.
