Kathleen M. Pellecchia of Brewster, NY, passed away peacefully with her family at her side Thursday September 8, 2022, in Mt. Kisco, NY at the age of 75.
Kathleen was born March 6, 1947, in Queens, NY, daughter of the late John and Marie (Finley) McTiernan. She graduated from Newtown High School in Queens in 1964. On May 1, 1966, she married Raymond Pellecchia in St. Bartholomew Church in Queens, NY. They lived in Brentwood, NY before moving to Brewster, NY in 1982. Kathleen returned to school and received her nursing degree from Dorothea Hopfer School of Nursing at Mt. Vernon Hospital, graduating in 1995. She worked as a nurse at Westchester Medical Center for 10 years, then served as a nursing instructor at BOCES in Yorktown, NY. She was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Parish as a Catholic Daughter, a Cornerstone Sister, and an Intentional Discipline. Kathleen was also a member of the Brewster Elks Lodge and was a HOG Biker Chick.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Raymond, her son Andrew Pellecchia of Hillsborough, NH (daughter-in-law René); daughters Nicole Armaganian of Concord, NH (son-in-Law Mark), Annemarie Lapham of Danbury, CT (son-in-Law Mark), Deborah Salkins of West Haven, CT (son-in-law Jim), Theresa Benitez of Danbury, CT (son-in-Law Rob), brother Jackie McTiernan of Queens, NY; sister Eileen Michel of Rocky Point, NY; grandchildren Danielle Pellecchia, Maria & Camille Armaganian, Keara, Liam and Madelyn Lapham, Garrett, Tyler, Brady and Luke Salkins and Faith Benitez. She was predeceased by her son Raymond Pellecchia Jr.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday September 12, 2022, at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, followed by the interment in St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery. The Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY, handled arrangements.
