Obituary: Lena Santorelli, Former Brewster Resident

Lena “Lee” Santorelli of New Milford, CT, passed away in New Milford, Thursday July 28, 2022 at the age of 96.

Lena was born February 5, 1926 in Torrington, CT daughter of the late Antonio and Santina (Castegnaro) Zerbato. She was a graduate of Mahopac High School, Mahopac, NY and on September 22, 1946 she married John Santorelli in Mahopac.

They moved to Brewster, NY in 1946 where she became a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church. Lena worked as a Systems Analyst at Guidepost for seventeen years.

Lena is survived by her son Richard Santorelli and his wife Ronnie of Warren, CT ; grandchildren, Rebecca, Matthew and Rachel; and great grandchildren Lilli and Austin. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2012. She is also predeceased by her sisters Olga Vivian, Ida Pelaccio, Irma Mirra, and brother Dino Zerbato.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 4, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY, followed by a Graveside Service at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY.
