Obituary: Marie Grace Palumbo, 67

Marie Grace Palumbo, 67, died April 6, 2020. Her last hours were spent with her family virtually by her side to ease her passing.

A mass will be held at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster later this year. Marie was born April 2, 1953 in the Bronx to Florence and Anthony Palumbo and was a resident of Brewster and the surrounding towns.

Marie graduated from Brewster High School in 1972 and held a variety of local jobs including working at Porta’s Store and Herbst Seed Factory as a young adult. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for ten years. Her interests included coin collecting, word search puzzles and adult coloring books. Marie’s biggest joy was her love of family and friends. She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, grace, and sense of humor.

Marie is survived by her siblings, Bonie (& Michael) Bonilla of Brewster and Joseph (& Patti) Palumbo of Stuart, FL, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Frederick (Bunny), Anthony (Mickey), Susan and Carol.
