Obituary: Robert C. Lund Of Brewster

Robert C. Lund, of Brewster, NY died peacefully at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home, on Monday, November 15, 2021. He was 74 years old.

Born on November 8, 1947, in Queens, NY, he was the son of Grace (Meyer), Charles Lund, and stepmother, Beth Agnew. He earned his bachelor’s degree in meteorology from St. Louis University.

On August 28, 1976, Robert married the love of his life, Linda Blackley in Armonk, NY.

Mr. Lund was a self-employed entrepreneur who, at one point, owned and operated a video store in Danbury, CT. He was an Assistant Scoutmaster in Putnam Lake, a Head Steward for the Putnam County Land Trust, who built many of their trails, and a member of a stamp club.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children, Jennifer Lund and her husband Stephen Coghlan Jr., Michael Lund and his wife, Jamie of Woodbury, NY, and Sharon Lund-Vinci and her husband Sean Vinci of Brewster, NY; his grandchildren, Madison and Benjamin Lund of Woodbury, NY, and his brother Richard Lund and his wife, Mickey of Glendale, AZ.

Memorial hours will be held on Tuesday, November 23 from 4-8 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. Masks are required as per the family.
