Obituary: Sean C. Dufficy, Former Purdys Resident

Sean C. Dufficy, of Webster, MA, formerly of Purdy’s, NY died peacefully with his family by his side on Friday September 24, 2021. He was 54 years old.

Born on July 2, 1967, in New Rochelle, NY, son of Carole and the late Timothy Dufficy, who predeceased his son in 2013, Sean graduated from North Salem High School and continued his education at Paul Smith’s College.

Sean always had a smile on his face, welcomed you with a warm heart and always tried to make others happy. He made many friends and was always regarded as a caring, loving person. He loved animals and his dog Bandit was one of his greatest joys in life. Sean also enjoyed fishing on the lake and motorcycles.

Sean is survived by his loving mom, Carole, his brother Jeffrey and his wife Pam and his sisters Christine and Hilary.

He also was a fun and loving uncle to his niece and four nephews, who will always remember his quick wit and having a good time.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 30, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Church, 95 Plum Brook Rd, Somers at 11:30am. Interment will follow at June Cemetery, North Salem, NY.
