Suzanne Y. Vermette, of Brewster, NY, died on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Putnam Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 58 years old.
Born in Mt. Kisco, NY on August 8, 1961, daughter of Roland and Patricia (Slater) Vermette. Suzanne graduated from North Salem High School and completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at SUNY Oneonta. Susan was a historical educator, teaching American History at SUNY Oneonta and for the New York State Historical Society. She enjoyed spending her free time participating in historical reenactments of the French and Indian Wars and the American Revolution.

Suzanne is not only survived by her loving parents but also by her daughter, Lily Taylor and her brothers; John Vermette of Brewster, NY and Paul Vermette (Christi) of Bettendorf, IA. Suzanne was predeceased by her son, Ian Taylor on August 13, 2019.
A private cremation will be held with a memorial to be announced at a later date.
