Pickup Slams Into Hudson Valley Home, Driver Arrested
The Philipstown man was charged with felony reckless endangerment and aggravated DWI. He was also cited for an unsafe lane change.

PHILIPSTOWN, NY — A Putnam County man has been arrested after a scary crash in Putnam County, according to authorities.
Sheriff Brian Hess said 39-year-old Zachary Freeman, of Philipstown, was arrested after crashing his truck into a home in the Town of Philipstown.
On Saturday, around 5:56 p.m., members of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office responded to Route 9D after receiving a report of a single-vehicle crash. Deputies at the scene quickly determined that the driver and only occupant of the vehicle, Freeman, had driven off the roadway and struck the home, according to the sheriff's office.

During the investigation, deputies also report finding that Freeman was driving the vehicle while intoxicated. He was then arrested.
Two people were inside the home at the time of the crash; however, no injuries were reported.

Freeman was charged with felony reckless endangerment, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and driving while intoxicated. He was also cited for an unsafe lane change.
Freeman was arraigned in the Town of Philipstown Court and released on his own recognizance, according to authorities.
