Putnam Cancels Saturday COVID Testing Due To Winter Storm

Also, the clinics will only be open less often after this weekend.

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — In anticipation of the looming snowstorm, the Carmel Coronavirus Testing Site will be closed all day Saturday, county officials announced.

Beginning Monday, officials will limit the schedule at the two clinics set up during the winter surge to test residents, in particular school children.

The testing schedule will be:

  • Carmel Location (Paladin Center, 39 Seminary Hill Rd, Carmel): Open Mondays and Fridays only, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for all ages, Putnam County residents only
  • Philipstown Location (Philipstown Recreation Center, 107 Glenclyffe, Garrison): Open Wednesdays only, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for all ages, Putnam County residents only
