Putnam County Coronavirus Update From NY Health Department

There are additional cases of the new coronavirus in Putnam County as of Monday afternoon, according to the NY State Health Department.

Editor's Clarification: The New York State Health Department data for Putnam County lag several days behind the county health department's own count. As of Sunday, Putnam County reports 807 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed since the new coronavirus pandemic began. To see Putnam County's coronavirus tally, click here. PUTNAM COUNTY, NY – There are an additional seven cases of the new coronavirus in Putnam County as of Monday afternoon, bringing the county total to 599, according to the New York State Department of Health.

There have been a total of 37 coronavirus-related deaths to date in the county. More than 2,200 people have been tested for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus and 27% tested positive.
