Putnam County Exec to Present 2017 Budget within Tax Cap
Odell says the average homeowner can Expect an increase of roughly $10 in 2017 county taxes.

County Executive MaryEllen Odell will deliver the 2017 Putnam County Budget Address at 7 p.m. Thursday.
It will be part of an event at the Putnam County Golf Course in Mahopac, NY that also features a Marketplace Expo for local businesses prior to the address from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
While not sharing any details of the spending plan in advance, Odell said in a press release that the proposed budget will continue to protect tax payers, preserve essential services and promote economic growth while staying within the tax cap limit of 1 percent.

On average, she said, homeowners will see a minor increase of approximately $10 in county taxes in 2017.
Those interested in attending the address must RSVP to reserve a seat via the county website.
