Putnam County Executive Declares State of Emergency

The county reinforces the state and village's driving bans.

Putnam County Executive Maryellen Odell has announced a State of Emergency for all of Putnam County effective 6:00 pm tonight 1/26/2015.

This state of emergency is for all of Putnam County and includes a travel ban on all roads. The travel ban will be effective 11:00 pm tonight and until further notice.

The ban is for your safety and our community.

This ban will afford our roads to be effectively maintained and clear for emergency vehicles only.
