Putnam Man Accused Of Sexual Conduct With Child

He faces a felony charge and three misdemeanor counts.

PATTERSON, NY — A Putnam County man has been charged with allegedly having sex with a child. State Police said Anthony Marino, 61, of Patterson, was charged with first-degree sexual contact with a child, a felony, and sexual misconduct, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanors.

Police said possible sexual abuse was reported in August 2017 involving Marino and a child that was younger than 13.

An investigation found that Marino had engaged in sexual conduct with the child multiple times in the Town of Patterson, police said.

He was arraigned in the Town of Patterson Court and sent to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.
