Her friend's mom was killed in Manhattan and taken to New Jersey in a bag, officials said.

A Manhattan women's murder has rattled communities in two states after her body was found dumped in Morris Township Tuesday night.

Paula Chin, a 65-year-old Manhattan woman who kept a weekend home in Morris Township, was found dead near her home, police said.

Son Jared Eng, 22, has been charged with concealing a corpse and tampering with evidence, police said on Wednesday. He likely faces more charges; according to court documents, he put his mom's bodyin a bag, later driving it to New Jersey and stuffing it into a garbage bin, The Journal News reported.

O'Rourke, of Patterson, New York, is a graduate of Carmel High School and a student at SUNY New Paltz.

According to court documents, Eng and Lopez called O'Rourke and told her about the killing. She told police she helped them cover up the crime including going along on the trip to throw the body in the garbage, TJN reported.

Older son Brandon Eng reportedly notified police that his mother was missing Monday night, less than 24 hours before she was found dead.

An official cause of death has not yet been established, police said. The NYPD is leading the investigation.
