Roommate Fight Ends In Two Arrests

Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a residence in Kent.

Two Putnam residents face charges after a disagreement turned physical. At about 1:20 p.m. Sunday, Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Kent, after a report of a fight between two roommates.

Sheriff Deputies Randal Hill, Andrew Kristan, and Shane Rossiter responded to the scene and investigated the complaint. After investigating the matter, they placed both men under arrest.

Victor Briccetti, 54, was charged with Assault in the Third Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor. Daniel Cutler, 46, was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, a Violation.

Upon his arrest, Briccetti was taken to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for processing. He
was later arraigned by the Honorable Judge Michael Caruso, in the Town of Paterson Justice Court, on behalf of the Town of Kent Justice Court. At the arraignment, Justice Caruso issued a Temporary Order of Protection against Briccetti, on behalf of Cutler.

Upon Cutler’s arrest, he was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Kent Justice Court.
