Schumer Aide Faces Drug Charges
The Carmel resident was arrested in Stony Point according to news reports.
Cody Peluso of Carmel faces drug possession charges in Stony Point, according to Fios1.
He is Sen. Charles Schumer's Hudson Valley regional director. Schumer's spokesman, Angelo Roefaro, told the news outlet Wednesday that the senior senator from New York was shocked and saddened by the news of Peluso's arrest.
The 32-year-old was arrested Monday. Police said he possessed prescription pills and steroids.
