He is survived by his mother and father, Joan L. and Scott M. Fish, Sr.; and his sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Alfonso DeLuca.
"He was known for always lending a helping hand and being there for the ones he loved," the family said on the Balsamo-Cordovano webpage. "Scott had a brilliant mind and studied engineering at SUNY New Paltz and Westchester Community College. He embraced his love of technology by spending his time creating pieces from his 3D printer, computer programming, and building gaming software. He enjoyed playing Magic, card games, bowling, chess, and scrabble. Scott was well versed in politics and enjoyed a good debate. Scott was a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion in Patterson, NY. He leaves behind his beloved dog Buddy, who was always by his side since the day he rescued him. He will be resting eternally alongside his grandmother."
