Brewster cross-country duo all-section

Brewster cross-country runner Justin Maguire had an oustanding year and was rewarded by being named all-section.

Maguire was the Class B sectional champ and finished No. 5 in the state meet, the highest for a male participant in the Westchester-Putnam-Rockland-Southern Dutchess area.

On the girls side, 's Ariana Bottalico was also an all-section award winner.

Deiseo leads Bears girls hoops

Brittany Deiseo registered 18 points and Marissa Delzio recorded 11 points in the Brewster girls basketball team's 55-44 loss to visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Dec. 13.

Wegwerth leads Bulldogs

Joe Wegwerth leads the Brewster Bulldogs Empire Junior Hockey League squad with 32 points on the strength of 22 assists and 10 goals.
