Thanks to the below submission by the Brewster wrestling coaching staff detailing the team's championship win at Ravena HS Dec. 17:
defeated Onteora HS, Roy C. Ketcham HS, Bethlehem HS, Ravena HS, and Saugerties HS.

"We were down this week with three starters out of the line-up," Brewster coach Tom Looby said. "The guys that wrestled really stepped it up and went out looking for pins every match. That is what helped us go 5-0."
Mike Parise was name the “99-145” most outstanding wrestler.
Brewster had four wrestlers go 5-0: Mike Parise, Tyler Gonska, Jimmy Duncan & Gino Gioelli.
(Tom Gonska went 3-0 & Liam Erickson went 2-0 at the 126 pound spot.)
Andrew Sion, Kyle McAlpin, and Harry Erickson went 4-1.

Brewster ice-hockey wins again
Brewster's ice-hockey squad improved to 9-0 with a 7-3 triumph against visiting Somers/North Salem Dec. 18.
Joe Wegwerth led the Bears with three goals while Sean Henderson and Mark Bentson tallied two goals apiece.
Heather Daley made 16 saves in goal.
