Varsity Wrestling: Congratulations to the Varsity Wrestling team for their victory over Mahopac in the quarter-finals of the Section One Dual Meet Championship Tournament. Brewster beat Mahopac 60-17. The Bears advance to the final four, which will take place on Wednesday Dec. 14th at North Rockland High School.

Bulldogs hitting the road
The Brewster Bulldogs Empire Junior Hockey League squad will be on the road the next two games.
Those games are against the Space Coast Hurricanes tonight at 7:20 p.m. and Saturday at the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs at 11:40 a.m.

COED VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT AT COUNTY CENTER

Registration is now open for the Westchester County Coed Volleyball Tournament, to be held Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 18 and 19, 2012, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. each night, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.
The tournament is open to men and women, 18 years of age and older, who are members of organized teams, such as corporations, clubs, recreation centers or local “Ys.”
The tournament will be played in Round Robin format on Wednesday to determine the ranking of each team, with a double-elimination tournament for the championship round on Thursday. The tournament will be played in two levels of competition: recreation and power recreation. Awards will be given to the winning teams and runners-up in each division.
Fee is $195 per team, with a limit of 20 teams. Deadline for registration is Jan. 11. The Coed Volleyball Tournament is sponsored by Westchester County Parks. The Westchester County Center is located at 198 Central Avenue in White Plains. Parking is $5.
