It doesn't get much better than Brewster-Mahopac boys basketball especially when both teams are good.

That was the case Feb. 1 in Brewster, when the two Putnam-County rivals collided with visiting Mahopac winning 55-50.

Brian McNeil and Ryan Mahoney led the Bears (9-6) with 11 points each with teammate Mike Bonilla right behind with 10.

Mahopac (9-2) was led by Brendan Hynes, who tallied a game-high 21 points.

 

Kelly leads Oneonta

Brewster resident and Kennedy Catholic graduate, freshman Frankie Kelly, led the Red Dragons with 16 points that included a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line in Oneonta State men's basketball contest at Plattsburgh, falling 67-64.
