Brewster graduate Emily Tapio and her Fordham Rams women's basketball teammates played a thrilling contest Jan. 28, defeating host Massachusetts 56-54 on a layup by Tapio with two seconds remaining.

Bulldogs split
The Brewster Bulldogs of the Empire Junior Hockey League split their last two games.
The Bulldogs defeated the host Jersey Wildcats 8-0 Jan. 28 and lost to the visiting Wildcats the following day 5-2.
