Ariana Bottalico stood out on the girls side for Brewster, finishing seventh out of 130 participants in the state Class B girls cross-country championships, which were also held in Verona on Saturday.

Brewster 11-year-olds do well on the diamond
Brewster 2 finished with a 9-3 record and was tied for third in the 11-year-old division of the Westchester Putnam Baseball Association's fall season.
Brewster was right behind with a 7-5 mark.
