Brewster runners compete in Federation meet

Brewster's Ariana Bottalico and Justin Maguire competed in the Federation championship cross-country meet at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls on Nov. 19.

Bottalico came in 12th out of 257 participants in the girls bracket and Maguire placed 25th out of 250 runners in the boys division.

Bears swimmers swim in states

Brewster's Alexis Valedon came in 12th in the 200-yard individual medley and 19th in the 100-breaststroke for the public high schools in the state while her sister KelliAnn placed 38th in the 100-backstroke on Nov. 18 and 19 in the state championships at Erie Community College in Buffalo.

Bulldogs ice-hockey squad records victory

The host Brewster Bulldogs came away with a 6-1 triumph against the NY Applecore on Nov. 20 in Empire Junior Hockey League action.
