The Brewster Bears ice-hockey squad started its season winning all three of its games in the Conference I Thanksgiving Face-Off at the Brewster Ice Arena
Brewster defeated New Rochelle 6-3 on Nov. 27, bested Carmel 5-3 on Nov. 26 and beat Fox Lane 12-4 on Nov. 25.

Malinowski named player of the week
Brewster Bulldogs defenseman Chad Malinowski was named one of the Players of the Week in the Empire Junior Hockey League.
