Southeast Election Results: 1 Incumbent Returned

Plus two town justices sought a seat on the Putnam County Court.

SOUTHEAST, NY — One incumbent won re-election but another looks to lose her seat in a close vote as Southeast residents went to the polls to pick two of four people running for town council.

For town council, Edwin Alvarez and Lynne A. Eckardt sought re-election, challenged by Zach Disador and John P. O'Connor. Michael Burdick and Robert Pigan vied for the job of highway Superintendent.

Southeast Highway Superintendent:

  • Michael E. Burdick - 2,040
  • Robert B. Pigan - 878

Countywide, there was a race for Putnam County judge, as Camille Linson and Joseph J. Spofford Jr. sought the bench.

Here are unofficial interim results from the Putnam County Board of Elections. With 91 percent of districts reporting in the race for Putnam County Court Judge:

  • Camille S. Linson - 5,623
  • Joseph J. Spofford Jr. - 9,141
