Tapio Honored: Southeast-Brewster Daily Sports Digest March 20

Welcome to Patch's daily snapshot of sports in Brewster.

Women's Basketball

Emily Tapio (Brewster '11) was one of seven members of the Fordham University women's basketball team that were honored at the university's Ninth Annual Breakfast for Champions.

Fordham recognized 307 student-athletes in total.

The Rams in attendance were honored for compiling a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.

Hockey All-Stars 

The Journal News is deciding who should be its hockey all-stars for this season.

It's a tough process according to Mike Dougherty's post on the LoHud Hockey Blog.

Needless to say, if you have a favorite Brewster Bear or are an alumni/fan of another school and feel that there are players worthy from there of being selected, now is the time to speak up.

AAU Tournaments

There will be plenty of AAU basketball tournaments that will be played at the Brewster Sports Center, starting on March 24.
