January, 2012: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On January 6th at the Rockland Invitational Track & Field Meet at Rockland Community College, senior Adam McIe won the 1000 meters convincingly in 2:34 (a new school record) - a week earlier Adam ran 4:19 for the full mile at the North Shore Invitational at the NYC Armory.

Adam is currently ranked #3 in the mile in all of New York State. Senior Justin Maguire won the 2-mile at the North Shore Invitational in 9:31 (the 2nd fastest in school history).
Mauricio Madureira had a great day at the North Shore Invitational, placing 2nd in the long jump in 20'4.25", and became the 2nd ever Brewster athlete to high jump 6 feet.
Junior Ariana Bottalico, who just came off of her 3rd straight ALL-STATE Cross Country season placed 2nd in the 3000 meters in 10:22 at the North Shore Invitational, bettering her own school record in the event.

Girls youth hoops
