Troopers Charge Two Putnam Residents With DWI

State Police in Troop K said they removed 21 impaired drivers from the roadway during the weekend of Oct. 20

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — New York state police reported arresting 21 people accused of impaired driving over the weekend of Oct. 20. Among them were an arrest in Southeast and two arrests of Putnam County residents in Somers.

  • On October 19, State Police from SP Dover Plains arrested Daniel M. Cronin, 39, of Eastchester, NY, for Aggravated DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
  • On October 21, State Police from SP Somers arrested Kristin T. Regno, 35, of Carmel, NY, for Aggravated DWI. She was traveling on State Route 118 in the town of Somers, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, troopers alleged.
  • On October 21, State Police from SP Somers arrested Jason Cohen, 47, of Putnam Valley, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Somers, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
