Wanted Danbury Man Arrested in Southeast

Putnam Sheriff's Deputies found him.

Members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Marc D. De Benigno on March 24, after Connecticut police advised the Putnam Sheriff’s Department that the Danbury resident was believed to be in the county.

De Benigno had been convicted on charges of Burlary in the Third Degree, Larceny in the First Degree, Possession of Narcotics, Illegal Possession of a Weapon, and Credit Card Theft, and had been sentenced to probation in Connecticut.

The conditions prohibited De Benigno, 38, from leaving the state without written permission from his probation officer.
