Alan Steinfeld is back, presenting Working with Genealogy Software and Online Databases. The development of the personal computer and internet have revolutionized genealogy. This program will explore the use of dedicated genealogy software to store and manipulate family information. Participants will learn what to look for in a program, how to enter data and the sorts of charts and reports that can be generated. In addition, the use of online genealogy resources will be discussed. Using several popular databases, students will learn how to optimize their search techniques and order searches in a logical fashion The is a free event. Registration is required.
