• McDonald's in Spencerport gives away 100 backpacks filled with school supplies (whec.com) — Families in Spencerport could pick up one of 100 free backpacks filled with school supplies today at the McDonald’s on Nichols Street, part of a wider Monroe County giveaway. The manager says they plan to continue the event next year, and News10NBC is also organizing a larger school-supply drive later this month in Rochester.
