• AROUND THE LAKES: Lake Ontario festival June 6 in Oswego (fltimes.com) — SUNY Oswego’s Great Lakes Institute will host a booth with Lake Ontario trivia, maritime history, and hands-on activities at the June 6 Lake Ontario Waterfront Festival on Oswego’s West First Street pier. From noon to 4 p.m., visitors can explore underwater sanctuary videos, learn about safe boating and tourism opportunities, and tour the H. Lee White Maritime Museum.
