2 Injured In Car Collision

WOODBURY, NY — Two people were injured in a car collision late Friday afternoon in Woodbury, officials said.

At 5:17 p.m., the Syosset Fire Department headed to the intersection of Angel Way and Woodbury Road following a report of a crash with multiple injuries. Arriving units found two cars had collided, resulting in two injuries and a large fluid spill.

Syosset and Nassau County Police Department EMS crews took care of the injured drivers and brought them to the hospital. Meanwhile, crews applied speedy dry to the spill.

Angel Way, the Long Island Expressway entrance ramp, was closed until the cars were removed.
