• 2 Firefighters Injured In Jericho House Fire, Eye Injury: FD (patch.com) — Syosset firefighters were among several neighboring departments that rushed to help battle a serious house fire in Jericho, where two firefighters were injured and one resident displaced. Crews contained the blaze, which caused a partial second-floor collapse, in about an hour while investigators now work to determine the cause.
