"Bully Shield" - Free Anti- Bullying Event - Saturday October 15th - in Syosset and 7 locations on Long Island

October is "Bully Prevention Month" and 40 Tiger Schulmann's Martial Arts Centers, including 8 on Long Island are hosting free 90 minute Bully Prevention workshops for kids age 7-12 called "Bully Shield" on Saturday October 15th. These seminars are a public service for Bully Prevention month and help both the "bullied and the bully" through a non-violent approach to the various stages of bullying and what to do to stop bullying before it escalates. This long standing program is a non-aggression solution to the bullying issue which keeps resurfacing, often with frightening consequences. Discussion topics include:

- What is a bully?
- The three stages of bullying
- Role play on how to diffuse a bullying situation without getting physical
