Commitment Day 5k Fun Run and Walk in Syosset a Success
Over 100 people participated in the event on Sunday.
SYOSSET, NY - Over 100 people participated in the Commitment Day 5k Fun Run and Walk in Syosset on New Year's Day.
The fifth annual event took place on Sunday at the Life Time Athletic Syosset on 350 Robbins Lane.
The 5k was one of several races which took place between Dec. 30 and Jan. 2 across several Life Time Athletic locations.

The event was created to encourage residents to kick-off 2017 with a New Year’s commitment to their health.

The event will continue on Sunday, Jan. 8 with the Life Time Indoor Triathlon in Syosset. Participants will complete a 10-minute indoor pool swim, a 30-minute bike ride in a cycle studio, and a 20-minute run on a treadmill.
