Community Unites for Woman Who Lost Leg in Tragic Boating Accident

A fundraiser will be held in Bayville to support Edyta's long road to recovery.

The Bayville community has come together to support a local resident who was critically hurt after being struck by a boat propeller in August.

Edyta Regnowski had her right leg amputated following the traumatic boating accident between Cove Neck and Cold Spring Harbor.

To support her long road to recovery, the local community is invited to participate in a fundraising event at Mill Creek Tavern, located at 275 Bayville Ave. in Bayville, on Sunday Oct. 25 from noon to 4 p.m.
